The White House was first opened in 1987 and was one of the
first nurseries of its kind in Derbyshire. Since those early
days the nursery has expanded and developed to meet the needs
of "today's parents" and their children.
Our aims at the White House are to provide a secure, loving,
caring environment in which all children have the opportunities
to reach their full potential emotionally, socially and educationally
through 'hands-on' experiences whilst having FUN.
The White House Children's Nurseries, as a company, endeavour
to meet the individual requirements of each and every family's
needs. The transfer of children from unit to unit or Day Nursery
to Nursery School is made as smoothly as possible by excellent
communication and a gradual introduction to their new environment.
There is a continual assessment of the child's progress in
the form of oral and written records. Regular staff meetings
and communication on a day to day basis ensure that the White
House is run as one company with each department working toward
the same aims. We hope that you are able to take the time
to visit the White House and if you have any further queries
in the meantime, please do not hesitate to call or email
us.
